This strategic move underscores the company’s dedication to enhancing its global reach, particularly in Asia, a critical market for the adoption of blockchain technology.
New Regional Vice President for Asia
Gwendolyn Regina has been appointed as the Regional Vice President for Asia at Horizen Labs, where she will lead the company’s efforts to grow its footprint in the region. With almost two decades of experience in operations, leadership, and investment, Gwendolyn has a strong history of scaling businesses in the technology and media industries across Asia Pacific, the United States, and France. Appointment of Chief Strategy Officer

In this capacity, he will utilize his vast knowledge in blockchain, fintech, and executive leadership to propel the company’s strategic development initiatives. Andy boasts over 20 years of experience in the tech and financial services sectors. Prior to joining Horizen Labs, he founded and served as CEO of Vektor, the first operating system designed for decentralized finance, which was later acquired by Nirvana Labs. His past roles also include senior management positions at bitFlyer, Japan’s leading exchange, as well as at BDA Partners and Suzu Technologies.
Strategic Growth Amid Rebranding
These appointments come at a crucial moment for Horizen Labs, coinciding with the company’s recent rebranding and the upcoming launch of various projects, including the Mainnet release of Horizen 2.0 in the first half of 2025. With Asia now recognized as the leading continent for blockchain developers, Horizen Labs is strategically focusing on engaging local developers through hackathons and grant initiatives, thereby strengthening its position as a pioneering blockchain technology firm specializing in advanced ZK solutions.
